Αποβολές

Αποβολή είναι η αυτόματη απώλεια μιας εγκυμοσύνης πριν από την 20η εβδομάδα. Περίπου 10 με 20% των κυήσεων καταλήγουν σε αποβολή. Όμως, ο πραγματικός αριθμός είναι πιθανότατα πολύ μεγαλύτερος, επειδή πολλές αποβολές συμβαίνουν τόσο νωρίς στην εγκυμοσύνη που μια γυναίκα δεν ξέρει καν ότι είναι έγκυος.
Οι περισσότερες αποβολές συμβαίνουν επειδή το έμβρυο δεν αναπτύσσεται κανονικά. Ωστόσο, επειδή αυτές οι ανωμαλίες σπάνια είναι κατανοητές, είναι συχνά δύσκολο να προσδιοριστεί τι τις προκαλεί.

Τύποι Αποβολών

Επ’ απειλούμενη αποβολή

Παλίνδρομη κύηση
Όταν τα προϊόντα της κύησης βρίσκονται μέσα στη μήτρα, αλλά το έμβρυο έχει πεθάνει ή δε σχηματίσθηκε ποτέ.

Πλήρης αποβολή
Όταν όλα τα προϊόντα της κύησης αποβληθούν από τη μήτρα.  Αυτό είναι συχνό για αποβολές που συμβαίνουν πριν από 12 εβδομάδες.

Σηπτική αποβολή
Εάν έχετε αναπτύξει μια μόλυνση στη μήτρα σας, είναι γνωστό ως μια σηπτική αποβολή. Αυτό μπορεί να είναι μια πολύ σοβαρή λοίμωξη και απαιτεί την άμεση προσοχή.

Συμπτώματα

  1. Παθολογικά γονίδια ή  χρωμοσώματα
  2. Όχι καλά ρυθμισμένος διαβήτης
  3. Λοιμώξεις
  4. Ορμονικά προβλήματα
  5. Προβλήματα στη μήτρα ή τον τράχηλο
  6. Νόσος του θυρεοειδούς

Δραστηριότητες ρουτίνας όπως αυτές δεν προκαλούν μια αποβολή:

  • Άσκηση
  • Το σεξ
  • Εργασία, εφόσον δεν είστε εκτεθειμένες σε βλαβερές χημικές ουσίες ή ακτινοβολία.

Παράγοντες κινδύνου

Ηλικία
Οι γυναίκες ηλικίας άνω των 35 ετών έχουν υψηλότερο κίνδυνο αποβολής από ό, τι οι νεότερες γυναίκες. Στην ηλικία των 35, ο κίνδυνος είναι 20 τοις εκατό. Στην ηλικία των 40, ο κίνδυνος είναι περίπου 40 τοις εκατό. Και στην ηλικία των 45, είναι περίπου 80 τοις εκατό. Η πατρική ηλικία, επίσης, θα μπορούσε να διαδραματίσει έναν ρόλο. Κάπνισμα, το αλκοόλ και τα ναρκωτικά
Οι γυναίκες που καπνίζουν κατά την εγκυμοσύνη έχουν μεγαλύτερο κίνδυνο αποβολής από ό, τι μη καπνίστριες. Βαριά χρήση αλκοόλ και παράνομων ναρκωτικών αυξάνουν επίσης τον κίνδυνο αποβολής.

Βάρος
Όντας λιποβαρής ή υπέρβαρη αυξάνεται ο κίνδυνος αποβολής .

Επεμβατικές προγεννητικές εξετάσεις
Επεμβατικές δοκιμασίες όπως δειγματοληψία χοριακής λάχνης και η αμνιοπαρακέντηση, φέρουν ένα μικρό κίνδυνο αποβολής (1%) .
